Mogadishu, 22nd May 2019. The closing ceremony of the 1st Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course was held at the General Dhagabadan Training Center (GDTC) in the morning of 22nd May.

The course lasted fourteen days involving ten SNA soldiers, eight man and one woman, from the 62° Battalion Medical Xooga Hospital.

The main objective of the EUTM-S Medical Advisor was to generate military medics to employ as first responders during operations. The SNA soldiers are trained to manage the first aid, in critical situation.  EUTM-S Medical Advisor provided them both theory and practical sessions.

The SNA soldiers taking part in the course have been attentive and participated actively every day.

The ceremony was attended by the GDTC Chief of Training Colonel Buney and the EUTM-S Advisory Team Chief, Colonel Ricci.
