On 22nd February 2018, at the General Dhagabadan Shooting Range, a platoon of the 1st Light Infantry Company (LIC) trained by EUTM-S instructors, carried out a live fire exercise using AK-47 weapons of the Somali National Army (SNA). The activity, which represents the consequent step forward after the theory and practical preparation of the SNA trainees, took place under the direction of Trainers of the European Union Training Mission Somalia (EUTM-S) together with the personnel of African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).
